Ladies Bonspiels

The Kinross & District Ladies Branch (KDLB) organise 2 open bonspiels each season.

Kinross Ladies Open

A one day bonspiel open to all ladies. We love to welcome visitors from other ice rinks, and encourage curlers of all abilities to join in. There is space for 16 teams.

Thursday 22nd October 2026, starting at 9.30am for the first draw.
Price £150 per team (£37.50 per player).

The format is two groups playing alternately. Each team will play three 4-end games against other teams in their group on a schenkel system. There are 2 points for a win and 1 for a draw. Ends, shots up and total shots will be used to determine the standings. The winners will be the team at the top of the combined standings after all matches have been played.

Lunch and a snack in the afternoon are included in the price.

Kinross Ladies Open Pairs

A one day pairs bonspiel open to all ladies. We love to welcome visitors from other ice rinks, and encourage curlers of all abilities to join in. There is space for 16 teams.

Thursday 18th March 2027  starting at 9.30am
£56 per team (£28 per player).

The format is two groups playing alternately. Each team will play three 4-end games (3 stones each) against other teams in their group on a schenkel system. There are 2 points for a win and 1 for a draw. Ends, shots up and total shots will be used to determine the standings. The winners will be the team at the top of the combined standings after all matches have been played.

The entry fee only includes the ice fees. The bar will be open for drinks and snacks during the day.

If you have any questions or would like to play, but do not have a team, send an email to KDLBcommittee@gmail.com, and they will get back to you. They sometimes have teams needing an extra player or last minute subs and are happy to try and put teams together where possible..
