Prices for the 2026-27 Season

Ice is generally sold by the sheet and the price depends on whether the sheet is at a peak or off-peak time, and whether the club prepays their ice or not. (Prepaid ice is paid in 2 installments, one by the first day of the season to cover all ice up to the end of the year, and a second in December to cover ice to the end of the season).

*  Off-Peak is Monday to Friday 10:00, 12:15 and 14:30 and Saturday 17:45 and 20:00

There are some situations where ice is charged on an individual basis. These prices may be different for peak and off peak times, but there is no prepay rate.

Terms & Conditions - Ice Bookings

• Ice cancelled within 28 days of the scheduled date will not be refunded, and, if not already paid, must be paid in full.
• Bookings more than 28 day ahead may be cancelled and will be refunded if already paid.
• Prepaid ice* which is not paid for by the deadline (start of season or end of December), will revert to the Pay & Play rate.
• Ice must be fully paid by the end of the day it was due. Late payments will incur a surcharge to cover the extra admin costs.
• Kinross Curling reserve the right to cancel or rearrange ice. Any prepaid ice that is cancelled by the ice rink will be refunded. Rearranged ice that is not suitable may be cancelled and a refund requested.
• Games may be rescheduled if necessary and opposing teams must make every effort to accommodate reasonable requests. Teams should contact their opposition as soon as possible, and the game should be rescheduled to a new date before the original date has passed. Games may no be cancelled and rescheduled later.
• Practice bookings can be made up to 7 days ahead. They are non-refundable and may not be rescheduled.
• All payments made at the rink must be by card, cash is no longer accepted.
• Curlers paying at the rink will be required to make 1 payment only per team. Individual payments will not be allowed.

*  Prepaid Ice – Clubs may elect to prepay their ice to receive a discount. They will pay by the first day of the season for all ice up to the end of the year, and then by the end of December for ice from January to the end of the season. League teams may also elect to prepay, but they will pay for the whole league in one payment, due by the first day of the season.

Terms and Conditions – Practice Passes

Practice passes may be purchased and are subject to the following rules.  They may be withdrawn if they are misused.

• Practice passes are for personal practice only, they may not be used to play games. Games may be played, however, on paid for practice ice.
• There is a fair use policy for practice that is clearly shown on the website booking page. This covers the pass holder and not just the person making the booking.
• No shows and cancellations are not allowed apart from in exceptional circumstances. Repeat offenders may have their passes cancelled after 3 occurrences.
